on love
Conversation with the boy:
Me: Yeah, so if I were a fruit, I'd be a pineapple. Spiky on the outside, sweet on the inside.
K: You aren't sweet on the inside.
Me: I am, too.
K: No, you're a little ball of hate.
Me: Well, fine, I mean, pineapples aren't sweet sweet...they're a little sour. I'm sweet with a kick. What do you think?
K: I think your metaphor sucks.

K--hit the nail right on the head yet again.
Yes--he preferred his own metaphor, which was that I am like a habanero pepper...small, yet able to bring a grown man to tears. I just thought his was inaccurate so I supplied my own.
